Hi there, I'm Kerissa Lyman!
I'm passionate about supporting, educating and advocating for autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
As an autistic women and mother of 2 autistic children I have a lot of experience to share.
Driven by a deep need to understand my autistic children and my own autistic identity I have read books, articles, other blogs and taken many trainings and courses to help increase my understanding of the autistic experience and how to live authentically autistic. I have spent countless hours going through therapy with my own children to learn how to support and accommodate them. Each day we strive to be the beautiful individuals we were created to be. We are Living the Lyman way.
I want to use my accumulation of knowledge and my lived experience to help educate, advocate and support others.
Through Living Lyman Consulting, LLC I am available for family coaching, consulting with teachers, and professionals.
Whether you need help navigating the day to day, understanding autistic characteristics, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) characteristics, help with a Low Demand Lifestyle, behavior troubleshooting or just emotional support I am here to help.
My primary passions are educating and advocating for better understanding of the autistic experience, positive autistic identity and supporting Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
